Can I replace my SaaS subscriptions with self-hosted software?
Some of them, and the distinction matters. Most business software is a rented workflow — a CRM, an email sequencer, a support inbox, a dashboard, a task automator — and those can be rebuilt on infrastructure you own, usually paying for themselves within a year. What cannot be replaced is rented data: keyword and backlink indexes, contact databases, market feeds, and anything whose value is a certification or a network. The $499 audit tells you which of your tools are which and what the annual saving actually is, and it comes off the price of the first build.
Isn't self-hosting just moving the cost from a subscription to you?
Partly, and anyone who tells you otherwise is selling something. Software you own still needs updates, backups, patching and someone to call — that is real work and we charge from $149/month for it. The honest pitch is not "no more bills", it is one bill instead of eleven, at a fraction of the total, with the data on your own infrastructure. If your current stack is already cheap and working, we will tell you to keep it — that is what the audit is for.
